The Den North (Windsor) is New England's premiere volleyball facility. We have 6 indoor and 4 outdoor sand courts. The indoor courts are Sport Court and our new building features 40' ceilings.

Getting here:

The Den is at 50 Great Pond Dr. in Windsor, CT (we moved in 11/2020).

Parking:

There are parking lots at both ends of our building. Parking on our lot is very limited but we do have permission for our guest to park at the office building at 200 Great Pond Dr (next door). Please drive very slowly and carefully around our building.

Entering the building:

There are 2 entrances (one at each end of the building). For practices please enter/drop off at the lobby end (the front) and exit/pick up at the end where you first entered our lot ("Entrance B")

Once inside:

Please do not walk on the playing surface with any shoes that have been outdoors. No coffee, soda, sports drinks are allowed on the sport court surface. If you spill anything on the court surface, you’re responsible for cleaning it up (be alert!) There is very little seating available, please bring a chair (please don’t take chairs from the team benches or the work team since we’ll just make you give them back). You can set up around the edges of all of courts (past the ends of the team benches).

Players:

Bags may be placed around the edges of the court by the walls. Please don’t leave bags between courts and in the walkways down the middle.  NERVA has a zero tolerance policy for pilferage. Any uniforms, balls, etc. go missing into another players bag and they can expect to be suspended for the rest of the season. Please share this information with your players.

Coaches info and meeting:

- We’ll have a coaches meeting at 8:40am and will try to make it brief. Please bring a copy of your roster to hand in. Coaches need to wear their lanyards with USAV membership card (I have a supply of lanyards and id card holders). Coaches need to check out before leaving at the end of the day as well.

- Please be aware that sport court rules require players to play on the surface (so when serving you need to start on the surface and you must be in contact with the court to play balls off the surface). 

- If you are on the end court during warmups, please hit towards the walls to prevent balls from going onto adjacent courts. We’d all appreciate having the team that is waiting/off during the warmup interval to shag for the team hitting (and to also avoid balls going onto adjacent courts)

We have 6 courts at 60 Prospect St. in Newington, CT. This will be primarily a practice facility.
