Husky's ability to recruit, develop, and retain top-notch coaching staff is essential to its success. For the upcoming season we are actively seeking quality people that value a relationship with the players they are coaching, coaches that they meet (both Husky coaches and those with opposing clubs) and the Husky organization.
If you are inspired to help others strive for excellence, then consider joining our team of professionals. Husky coaches enjoy the following:
A positive environment supporting individual excellence within a club-wide coaching system
Professional development that includes free tuition to Husky hosted Gold Medal Squared clinics, tuition support for USA Volleyball CAP accreditation and USA Volleyball IMPACT training.
Free access to Gold Medal Squared's volleyball toolbox and Art of Coaching Volleyball Premium access
AVCA membership (American Volleyball Coaches Association)
Visible, experienced, and supportive leadership
An operational structure simplifying team management for coaches
A range of commitment levels to accommodate varying work and family obligations
Additional coaching opportunities via year-round programming and private lessons
A high level of competitiveness amongst our teams leading to regional and national success
Husky is actively seeking coaching staff to join our organization. We look for enthusiastic people who are committed to excellence and interested in both teaching and learning. Previous playing and/or coaching experience is preferred. Coaches must also pass a background screen and become, at a minimum, IMPACT certified by USA Volleyball (both provided by Husky).
Husky fields mostly junior girls teams [14-18's] and had 8 boys teams last season [15-18's]. The competitive level of our teams varies from national [most competitive, 7-month season] to regional [approximately a 4-month season].
For the upcoming club season [December through May] we anticipate a need for part-time coaching staff interested in Head and Assistant coaching roles.
